كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان - المشيتية
بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٧٢ بعناية الخوري جرجس خليفة. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب بحنية نصف دائريّة. رُمّم البناء أواخر القرن العشرين.
The church of St John the Baptist - Mcheitieh
The church was built in 1872 with the initiative of Fr. Gerges Khalifeh. The structure consists of a crossed vault with a semi circular apse. The church was restored at the end of the XXth century.
هو من الأديار القديمة في الكنيسة المارونيَّة، بناه المرَدَةَ سنة ٨٥٠. إستولى عليه الحماديُّون حوالي سنة ١١٢١، مدَّةً من الزمن، فانتقل رهبانُه في أثنائها إلى دير سيِّدة إيليج. تَسَلَّمت الرهبانيَّةُ اللبنانيّة المارونيّة ديرَ ميفوق سنة ١٧٦٦، من الأمير يوسف الشهابيّ. انعقد في هذا الدير، مجمعًا إقليميًّا للكنيسة المارونيَّة، برئاسة القاصد الرسولي الأب بطرس دي مورينا و المطران ميخائيل الخازن سنة ١٧٨٠. سنة ١٨٥٠، أمضى فيه مار شربل سنة ابتداءٍ واحدة. أنشأت الرهبانيَّة معهدًا في الدير، سنة ١٩٢٢. وَمِن محفوظات دير سيِّدة – ميفوق، صورة سيِّدة إيليج الأثريَّة التي أُعيد ترميمُها بين سنتَي ١٩٨٢ ١٩٨٧. لعب الدّير دورًا على صُعُد التنشئة الرهبانيّة والوطنيّة دورًا بارزًا.
The monastery of Our Lady of Mayfouq - Mayfouq
One of the oldest Maronite monasteries built arround 850 by the Maradites. It was taken over by the Hamadi’s in 1121, and back then the monks moved to Ilige. The monastery was given to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1766 by Prince Youssef Shehab. In 1780 a local Maronite council was held in the monastery presided by the papal delegate Fr Peter di Morina and bishop Mikael el Khazen. In 1850 St Charbel spent a year of his novitiate there. A school was founded by the order in 1922. The monastery holds the famous icon of our Lady of Ilige restored between 1982 and 1987. The monastery played a great national role and it was a major school of formation for the monks.
بحسب التقليد بنى رهبان أحباش الكنيسة الأولى سنة ١٤٤٦ وأتوا بصورة العذراء: هذه الكنيسة القديمة بحنيتين هي اليوم السكرستيا ومدفن الكهنة. سنة ١٦٤٠ إستَحصَل آل حبيش على فرمان من السُلطان العُثماني لِتَرميم كنيسة السيّدة في غزير، وشيَّدوا بِموجب هذا الفَرمان كنيسة السيّدة المَدعوَّة الآن "الحبشية" وكرَّسها البطريرك إسطفان الدويهي في ١٣ آذار سنة ١٦٦٣. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة الطراز، تعرّضت للتخريب سنة ١٩٠٥، رُمّمت في ثمانينات القرن العشرين. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والعديد من الشواهد. According to tradition the church was first built by Abyssinian monks from Nabak in 1446 and they brought with them the icon of the Madonna. The old church is now the sacristy and the prelates necropolis. In 1640 the Hobeish family got an accord from the Ottoman sultan to build the new church that was named Habshiyeh. Patriarch Estephan El Douwaihy consecrated the church on the 13th of March 1663. The church is a basilical structure, it was sabotaged in 1905 and renewed in the 80s. The church holds many paintings and epitaphs.

كنيسة مار جرجس الشهيد - عقتانيت
بنيت الكنيسة في القرن الثامن عشر، تعرّضت للتخريب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ بحنية واحدة. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونتين مقدسيّيتين للسيّدة والعماد، ولوحةً لمار جرجس تعود لسنة ١٩١٦ من عمل خليل عقل. تجدّدت وأعاد تكريسها المطران مارون العمّار في ٢٤ نيسان ٢٠٢٢. The church was built in the XVIIIth century and sabotaged during the war of 1860. The structure consists of a crossed vault with a single nave. The church holds two icons from the school of Jerusalem: the Theophany and the Madonna and a painting of St George by Khalil Akl dating back to 1916. The church was renewed and reconsecrated by bishop Maroun Al Ammar on the 24th of April 2022.
